A printed top(similar Etro top, similar Ralph Lauren top) paired with a solid colour skirt(Delia's similar skirt, Addition Elle similar maxi skirt) and bonded together by a costume belt(similar Asos peplum belt/Asos peplum curve belt) is a short process to create a well put together look.

 

The idea of this dress is beautiful in the photo, but then I saw it on the model and it was completely different from what I expected it to be. In the photo it looks like a bodycon dress that hugs the figure down to the thighs and falls more loosely around the knees and legs and hems an inch or two above the ankle. That's why the outfit in the photo would be amazing on a tall woman who has legs to carry the length of the gown but it would still be short enough on her to expose these gorgeous Jimmy Choo heels. I paired a matching clutch(via Yumsy Mumsy) to the dress to let these neon sandals shine. Don't get me wrong, the Jay Ahr gown is stunning. I love the side slit and the rib detailing, it's a sexy dress that will grab a lot of people's attention.

This is a cool look for a savvy business woman. Go to a business lunch looking sylish in the similar Vero Moda tank/Bianca Nygard tank, Diane von Furstenberg skirt/ModCloth skirt, and Pour la Victoire sandals.

A cardigan or shrug(similar Calvin Klein shrug, similar Addition Elle shrug) worn over a dress(similar dress via Zest Vintage, similar ModCloth dress ) is a common vintage style, the boots(similar Topshop boots ) I like, because they're unexpected with this outfit.

Doesn't Nadya look so chic and pretty in her pink blouse(similar American Apparel top, similar Almeria t-shirt), swing skirt(similar Asos skirt, similar NYcollection plus skirt), and Valentino pumps. Ever feel like dressing up for absolutely no reason at all except to make yourself feel different somehow? This look would be great for one of those days.

TOMBOY

The Locals 
 

This look is cool for a casual day out with friends or for running errands. I love the acid wash jeans(similar Sparkle & Fade pants, similar Asos men's skinny jeans) because it was a popular style in the 90s and you that I'm a big fan of that fashion era. A bandeau top worn under the tank top(similar American Apparel unisex o/s tank) with the jeans and heels would be a sexy urban-tomboy spin on this look.

 

The chambray shirt(similar Tommy Hilfiger shirt, similar I.N.C plus shirt) is a popular wardrobe item for both men and women. It's been featured on here a few times and with this look Patience who is wearing the denim version, and Emily both paired theirs with a black leather(detailed) skirt(similar Asos curve skirt, similar Bailey 44 skirt) and I think its awesome how both women decided to complete their outfits with a piece of yellow jewellery and red lips.

 

 

Black, tan, and black/white stripes isn't necessarily a style idea that pops into my head when I think of popular fashion match ups, but seeing all of these different options including the Sunday's School Sophisti"cat" look has made me realize that these three components create a stylish set that is recognized by many fashionable people as an iconic look.
