This past Sunday's school sophisti"cat" included cap toe pumps in her noi saf style and this rotating trend brought a retro feel to her outfit. This shoe style explodes in mainstream popularity every few years or so and everytime I see it in an outfit I'm reminded of a fleeting icon. I wanted to create something chic and refreshing like something you'd see in a streetstyle snapshop of a fly young lady. This Just In Case dress is inspired by something that is in my closet you've probably seen me feature it twice already. I love the high neckline and the elegant v-cut design at the back. The suede sandals via Go Jane bring out the neutral tones in the dress and the royal blue Dior bag highlight the brighter colours, and of course you can always complete any outfit with diamonds, like these stud earrings by Juicy Couture. They're simple and not too flashy which works perfectly for this look.

I think a full beige or nude outfit is one of those trendy fashion ideas that will eventually become an important classic style. The plaid pattern is one of the most distinctive prints in popular fashion, and I like it. I remember a tartan print bag I had a couple years ago that I would carry all the time until it couldn't fit my stuff anymore so I had to switch it out for something a little bigger, wish I had a similar purse right now.

I love this look because it mixes so many different trends in fashion right now. Serena shows us how to stylishly layer a chambray button-down under a tartan shirt(similar Salt Valley shirt, similar Tradition C.C. plus shirt), paired with a leather skirt(similar Asos skirt, similar curve skirt), and accessorize with a red clutch(similar American Apparel clutch) to match red colour block pumps(similar J.
