Bell bottoms haven't been the "it" fashion look since the re-emergence of skinny jeans several years back, and even though year after year fashion writers tease their audiences with evidence from runway shows and street style snapshots which they offer as proof that the style is back and will be "the biggest upcoming trend", the seasons have come and gone and the style still has not returned to the level of popularity that is was prior to the skinny jean regaining it's definite 'wardrobe staple' status. With flare trousers appearing in many designer spring 2015 collections that buzz has once again been rekindled and many fashion insiders are claiming that this summer and fall will see the definite return of bell bottoms. It's quite possible that it may be true, but it's time to stop waiting on some flare jeans revolution to happen. If you like this style of pants, wear them. Why wait until everybody else starts wearing them again? Remember the story I told in the A Dress With Bell Bottoms outfit post of my sister not wanting to be seen with me a couple years ago because I chose bell bottoms over skinny jeans? Haha! ... You can find plenty of inspiration from stylish stars like JESSICA ALBA and RACHEL ZOE who's made this style a signature look for themselves and further inspiration when you browse through the fashionable selections below.

Pattern & Prints
(L-R) Reality TV star Millie Mackintosh, singer and multi-hyphenate Solange Knowles, and model Kendall Jenner all look super cool in their individual take on the printed version of this style. Millie wore green patterned pants with a mock neck top and a leather jacket to the Felder Felder fashion show during London Fashion Week, February 2015. Solange wore an orange pantsuit with light accents in May 2013 to DJ at the Intermix 20th Anniversary celebration, and Kendall wore a knitted, zig-zag pattern pant with an off the shoulder crop top on the second day of Coachella in April 2014.

Blue Jeans

(L-R) Designer Nicole Richie styled her flare jeans with a classic white button-up shirt and wore a red Saint Laurent blazer draped over her shoulders for a social meeting in West Hollywood in November 2013 (how cute is her dog, Iro!). Actress Minka Kelly wore her denim with a printed ruffle top while out and about in Beverly Hills (February 2012), and fashion writer Miroslava Duma attended the Stella McCartney show during Paris Fashion Week (May 2013) in high waisted bell bottoms, paired with a matching sweater and jacket, and a patterned headscarf

(L-R) Actress Lily Collins wore a classic set consisting of a tube crop top and wide leg flare trousers to the "Love, Rosie" photocall during the 9th Annual Rome Film Festival in Rome, Italy, October 19, 2014. Model and actress Bar Refaeli attended Michael Kors' To Celebrate Milano opening (December 4, 2013) in Milan, Italy in a matching lace top and flare pants perfectly accessorized with a white belt and a black/white clutch. When Judge Alesha Dixon arrived for a taping of Britain's Got Talent (London, January 2013) in a white pantsuit she looked like the perfect archetype of an angel, especially with the snow falling all around her.

Matching Separates

(L-R) Giambattista Valli had the set with that awesome medallion design, and the creation in the center that resembles a starry night sky, in his spring 2015 presentation at Paris Fashion Week, both looks are great as a formal or a professional choice. Karen Walker is another designer that had models sporting bell bottoms in her Spring 2015 show during New York Fashion Week, and this blue floral print suit is a playful blend of a casual and sophisticated daytime look.

(L-R) Style blogger Folake Kuye Huntoon of the mega-successful fashion website Style Pantry, created a timeless outfit when she paired an off-the-shoulder swing crop top from from boohoo with flare Roksanda Ilincic trousers, and accessorized with a Paula Cademart bag and these to die for Sophia Webster bejeweled platform sandals. Reality TV star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian West was photographed while out and about in Van Nuys, California (June 24, 2014) in a black Jumpsuit, that side-parted slicked back hair and red lipstick pulled together for a classic look. Model Alyssa Miller attended Gucci and The Cinema Society's screening of "Oz the Great and Powerful" (March 5, 2013) in New York City in a beautifully designed suit with strategically sheer cut outs and panels — this reminds me so much of the velvet Ariella gown from the Black Velvet and a Crown outfit idea inspired by my mom.

(L-R) Actress and singer Selena Gomez attended Variety and Women in Film Emmy Nominee Celebration (August 23, 2014) in West Hollywood, California in a red, long sleeve jumpsuit. She completed her look with black bow pumps, a black clutch, minimal makeup, and long wavy tresses. Actress Kate Bosworth was photographed in New York City (April 16, 2015) wearing denim overalls and PRINT FRAME SUNNIES this is a great casual look! Super popular fashion blogger Folake Kuye Huntoon accessorized this beautiful jumpsuit with a Proenza Schouler bag and Alexander Wang Heels, I love the whole vintage aesthetic going on in this ensemble.

(L-R) Karen Walker had this "canvas" style textured suit in her Spring 2015 collection at New York Fashion Week  that is a perfect work get up no matter the season. The perfect winter work outfit has to be the grey checked suit designer Rachel Zoe wore to Mercedes-Benz (New York) Fashion Week February 2012. Her fur coat adds the right touch of opulence to this boss lady attire. Lastly, Diane von Furstenberg included this white collar and cuffs printed blue shirt with high waisted dark blue jeans in her Spring 2015 show at New York Fashion Week and this would be the more casual work look out of the three.

Bright Colors
(L-R) I think Rebecca Taylor had up to eight outfits with flare pants in her Spring 2015 collection at New York Fashion Week and I absolutely love this canary yellow flare pants, ruffle print tank, and platform sandals combination for a casual day out. Actress AnnaLynne McCord was photographed while on the set of 90210 wearing hot pink flare pants and a midriff baring gold printed black top this look is cute, I really like it. Actress and style blogger (Ring My Bell) Ashley Madekwe attended a private Elie Saab dinner  in Los Angeles (November 13, 2014) in a beautiful teal colored pantsuit from the brand's Spring 2015 collection, her clutch is Elie Saab as well.

(L-R) Paul & Joe continued the trend of bell bottoms on the spring 2015 runways with this print top, and brown lace front flares combo that reminds me of a perpetual Fall season, but honestly, model LINDSEY WIXSON's strut!! 100% sealed the deal for me on this Paris Fashion Week look. Style maven Folake Kuye Huntoon created a look with her leopard print blazer, Ralph Lauren mock neck top, and leather Rachel Zoe pants that channels an iconic time and movement of the 1970s. Inspired by decades before and after the 1970s is how I can best describe this look from Karen Walker's spring 2015 presentation at New York Fashion Week, but ultimately with the flare pants and neutral colors it's still a '70s look.

(L-R) Matthew Williamson had quite a few flare pants in his Spring 2015 collection that he presented at London Fashion Week and I loved this loose fitting, rose pink suit especially with the pairing of the silk printed top underneath. Emilio Pucci sent a white suit crafted with floral designs and embellishments down the runway during his spring 2015 presentation during Milan Fashion Week that is a perfect spring time look, and the flare is subtle, so it's a great choice for anyone who is not into the exaggerated bell bottom style. Matthew Williamson also had this beaded pantsuit in the aforementioned collection with designs inspired peacock feathers that is just so cool to me, I love it.
